The Department of Applied Science and Humanities is dedicated to enhancing human understanding and benefiting society through teaching and research in both fundamental and practical fields of science and humanities within a unique collegial and multidisciplinary environment. The department seeks to expand knowledge, foster critical thinking, enhance the ability to transform information into knowledge, and improve the technical competence of each student in a rapidly changing society. To address the diverse needs of its multidisciplinary student body, the department boasts faculty members who specialize in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, and Social Sciences. Our educators and students contribute to cutting-edge research by providing access to advanced educational and laboratory facilities, as well as a central library that supports both basic and applied research, including engineering disciplines.
