The B.Tech. program in Mechanical Engineering is designed to strengthen students’ capabilities by providing a strong foundation in core mechanical engineering principles, enabling them to effectively address global technical challenges. The course covers core areas such as basic thermodynamics, applied thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, solid mechanics, manufacturing processes, industrial engineering, theory of machine and machine design, along with emerging fields like robotics, automation, additive manufacturing and renewable energy systems. Students gain hands-on experience in computer-aided design lab, computer-aided manufacturing lab, 3D Printing lab, modern manufacturing practices, industrial robotics, and mechatronics. The program emphasizes practical learning through organizing the guest lectures, webinars, alumni talk, industry interaction and project-based activities. This holistic approach prepares graduates to meet industry requirements and effectively solve real-world engineering problems. Eligibility:
For admission to first year of B.Tech., candidate must have passed (with/without grace) intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent with Physics, Maths and Chemistry/Computer Science subjects and obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
