Overview
The Department of Information Technology at Shri Ramswaroop Memorial College of Engineering & Management was established in 2001 with initial intake of 60. The intake was increased to 120 in the year 2007.
B.Tech. programme in Information Technology at SRMCEM provides students with application-based learning. It prepares them to be equipped with cutting-edge technology so they can confront and serve society with greater professionalism, self-control, and optimism. The program’s primary goal is to foster curiosity and inquisitive thinking together with a sense of service to the country and society as a whole, as well as the ability to identify the need for change and spearhead it in order to improve living conditions worldwide.
The Department provides students with hands-on experience through well-equipped computer programming labs. Additionally, the department supports high-Caliber research and creative projects in a number of linked fields. The department places a strong emphasis on using learning resources to gain knowledge and abilities.
