Overview
The undergraduate program in Electronics and Communication Engineering is designed to provide students with a strong technical foundation and a robust research orientation in the design, development and integration of electronic circuits and systems. In addition to core areas such as wireless communication, global mobile communication and satellite-based navigation, the program has been enriched with emerging domains including VLSI Design, Embedded Systems and the Internet of Things (IoT). Students are equipped with knowledge of integrated circuit design, FPGA/ASIC methodologies, microcontroller and processor-based system design, real-time embedded applications and intelligent connected systems using IoT frameworks.
The laboratory infrastructure plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between theoretical learning and industry requirements. The department boasts state-of-the-art laboratory infrastructure encompassing VLSI design, Embedded Systems, IoT, Microwave and Optical Fiber Communication supported by industry-standard tools and platforms such as LABVIEW, MATLAB, CADENCE, PSPICE, VHDL, Xilinx simulators, Texas Instruments DSP kits, and modern prototyping systems like Arduino and Raspberry Pi for advanced hands-on learning. The department emphasizes experiential learning and provides ample industrial exposure through Industrial visits to help students translate classroom concepts into real-world experience. Complementing this, a rich series of guest lectures, expert sessions, alumni interactions, and specialized workshops are conducted throughout the program.

Eligibility:
For admission to first year of B.Tech., candidate must have passed (with/without grace) intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent with Physics, Maths and Chemistry/Computer Science subjects and obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
